IELTS English test score
The IELTS English test is designed to assess English language skills at a wide variety of levels. This English test uses a banded scoring system to measure scores, with 1 being the lowest band and 9 being the highest. You will be graded with an IELTS score range from 0 to 9 for each section of the test, reflecting your level of English.
Your IELTS English test transcript shows a score for each of the four skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking), as well as an overall score. You can get a full band score (e.g. 5.0, 6.0 and 7.0) or a half band score (e.g. 5.5, 6.5 and 7.5) for each section of the test.
