The call for the 2018 Royal Court Theatre London’s International Playwrights Programme was organised by the Fundación Teatro a Mil (Chile) and Teatro La Plaza (Peru), in collaboration with British Council from Chile.

Once again, The Royal Court Theatre in London has set its sights on Latin American creators for an encounter based on development and working together, this time with authors from Chile and Peru. This is a unique opportunity that allows seven playwrights from each country to form part of workshops that seek to promote and enhance creativity in contemporary theatre all over the world.

This year, with the aim of concentrating all our efforts on the selection of these seven Peruvian playwrights, the 2018 Sala de Parto call was replaced with a call for this programme, through which these two distinguished Latin American and Europe organisation come together.
