Dr. Paula Rebolledo

Keynote presenter Dr. Paula Rebolledo

Teaching experience of 20 years at school, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her research interests include teaching young learners, professional development and teacher education and research. She has worked as a mentor in teacher research initiatives such as the Champion Teachers programme and the APTIS Action Research Award Scheme both funded by the British Council.

Thursday 08 November: “Teacher research in teacher education: why does it matter?”

Francisco Butrón

Workshop leader Francisco Butrón

Holds a BA in Education from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos as well as the Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults – CELTA from Cambridge University and a Diploma in TEFL from Universidad de Piura. He is also member of the first cohort of Champion Teachers Peru Exploratory Action Research 2017 and one of our Champion Teachers 2016.

Gabriela Paredes

Workshop leader Gabriela Paredes

Holds a degree in Education from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Has two Diplomas, one in English Language Acquisition and Teacher Education from Universidad Científica del Sur, and Management Programme Specialized in Education from Universidad del Pacífico. Since 2013, she is an English teacher at ICPNA for the Adult and Young Student Programmes.
